त्रिशुली : साँखु बजार

त्रिशुली बजारलाई पहिला साखुं बजारको रुप चिनिन्थ्यो । यो राजधानी काठमाडौंबाट ७२ किलोमीटर उत्तरमा अवस्थित छ। नुवाकोट जिल्लाको पहिलो बजारको रुप स्थापित भएको स्थानमा नेवारहरुको बाहुल्यता रहेको छ। यसै स्थानको समिप भइ त्रिशुली नदी बग्ने गर्दछ। साखुं बजारको नाम पनि त्रिशुली नदीको नामबाट रहेको किम्बदन्ती रहेको छ ।
